Clayton Parks

The Borough is fortunate to have approximately one-third of its land dedicated

to parks and recreation. The Borough has within its boundaries:

  • Autumn Pasquale Memorial Park, formerly known as Little Ease Park: Located off East Avenue, this park is home for Clippers Youth Football and Cheerleading. There are also tennis courts, a basketball court, a skateboard park, a children’s playground, and a walking trail. The Park is also home for the Dog and Butterfly Dog Park for both large and small dogs.

  •  Taylor Bell Fields: Located off Taylor Bell Drive/Washington Avenue, this park is home for Clayton Little League.

  • DJ Bentz Memorial Soccer Complex: Located off Academy Street, this park was dedicated to DJ Bentz, a Clayton soldier and hero who fought in Iraq and was killed in action on June 20, 2007. This park is home to the Clayton Soccer Association.

  • Robert Sandelier Memorial Park: Located behind Borough Hall, this park was named in honor of long-time resident and Borough employee Robert Sandelier. There is a pavilion and park benches for residents to enjoy, and several Borough events are held here.

  • Scotland Run: Located off Fries Mill Road and Academy Street, this park is owned by Gloucester County, and offers several recreation amenities.

  • NJ State Wildlife Management Area: Locally known as the “CC Woods,” this area provides a natural habitat for animals and is open to hunters during hunting season.
