New, improved Rite Aid opens its doors in Clayton
CLAYTON A new Rite Aid store has opened on South Delsea Drive that incorporates features of the company’s “Customer World” design, which was created from customer feedback.
The first Customer World store design opened about five years ago and the format highlights the store’s pharmacy. After meeting with focus groups across the country, Rite Aid executives implemented an expanded merchandise selection, improved store navigation and a “professional feel” at the pharmacy. That department is easily seen and accessible from the entrance and its waiting area includes a lowered ceiling, comfortable chairs, a TV and a connecting pharmacy consultation room.
The Clayton store is more than 14,000 square feet and features more visible department signs, a centrally-located cosmetics department, a GNC vitamin department with specialty products, a new picture center, drive-through pharmacy services and a larger pharmacy waiting area with health and wellness information.
